2) When remote-controlling a single camera, set the

switch TERMINATION (9) to ON; when remote-control-
ling several cameras, only set the switch on the last
camera of the control cable to ON, the switch on the
other cameras to OFF.
3) Make the required settings on the second menu page in
the lines PROTOCOL, BAUD RATE, and COMM. ID,
see page 26.

5.2.2 Control via momentary pushbutton switches

For remote control of the camera like via the buttons Enter,
Zoom, and Focus (1 – 3), connect five momentary push-
button switches according to fig. 4 via the resistors stated
and the capacitor to Pin 3 of the jack CONTROL.

5.2.3 Selection of day or night mode

The selection of day or night mode can be made automat-
ically, manually via the OSD menu (menu line COLOR,
see page 24), or via a separate switch.
1) If required, connect a switch (1-pole, on/off) to Pin 6
and Pin 2 (ground) of the jack CONTROL.
2) On the first menu page, select the setting EXT in the
line COLOR (see page 24).
3) When the switch is open, the day mode will be activat-
ed; when it is closed, the night mode.

5.3 Remote control via a PTZ controller

Remote control of the camera is also possible via a PTZ
controller supplying a control voltage between 6 V
12 V
for a panning camera with motor zoom lens (Pan,
Tilt, Zoom). Connect the controller via the supplied 4-pole
plug to the jack Z F M C (6):
