OPERATING THE HYDRO-MAX™II SYSTEM
The (optional) Hydro-Max II System extends your run time three or more hours depending on the floor conditions. The cleaner the floor, the longer the system
will run before a clean-out and refill is required.
To Operate the Hydro-Max™II System...
1 Fill the Solution Tank (A) with the normal amount of water and cleaning chemical.
2 Fill the five gallon (19 liter) Detergent Tank (B) with full strength chemical. Contact your Nilfisk-Advance Distributor for the proper chemical for your cleaning
application.
3 Fill the clean recovery tank with clean water up to the Support Strap (C).
4 Select and install the proper Chemical Metering Barb (D). The dilution ratio for each barb is indicated on the decal on the detergent tank. Follow the dilution
instructions printed on the chemical container or consult your Nilfisk-Advance Distributor.
5 Turn the Hydro-Max II Recycling Switch (38) ON and begin scrubbing.
6 If the solution tank runs dry before the job is done, refill the tank with water and chemical.
If the Detergent Tank Low Light (37) comes on, refill the detergent tank with full-strength chemical.

CLEANING THE HYDRO-MAX™II SYSTEM
To Clean the Hydro-Max™II System...
1 Move the machine to a designated waste water "DISPOSAL SITE".
2 Drain the recovery tank using the two Drain Hoses (E) (one on each side of the tank).
3 Lift out the Screen Panel (F) and rinse under running water.
4 Rinse the Strainer Screen (G) on the right side of the tank.
5 Remove the two Clean-Out Covers (H) from the rear of the tank. Scoop out or rinse out any debris from inside the tank. Then put the Clean-Out Covers
back on the tank.
6 Put the Screen Panel back in the tank.
7 Drain and rinse the solution tank.
8 Clean the Chemical Metering Barb (D). Remove the barb and soak it in hot, soapy water. Use a pin to clean hardened chemical from the hole in the barb.
