5. Parameterizing by Safety Unit

The SMCB-Display is operated by using the 6 buttons of the touchscreen key
panel.
For touchscreen operation, an existing connection
between the SMCB-Display and a safety unit is
necessary.

The button OK is used to confirm entries
The „Cancel" resp. „ESC" button is used to leave the menu or
go back one menu-level.
The UP button is used to jump to the next menu item or
increases
the numeric value (number flashes).
The DOWN button is used to jump to the previous menu item
or
decreases the numeric value (number flashes).
The LEFT button switches to the previous menu item or
selects
the previous position of the value to be edited (number
flashes).
The RIGHT button switches to the next menu item or selects
the next position of the value to be edited (number flashes).
