INSTALLATION OF THE FRONT
AND REAR DERAILLEUR
Check that the thread of the rear derailleur
is clean and free of debris.
The frame is designed to accept a "Direct
Mount" down pull front derailleur. Follow the
manufacturer's assembly, adjustment and
maintenance instructions.
ATTENTION: The mounting of the front
derailleur should be done at a maximum
torque of 7 Nm.

MOUNTING THE WHEELS

The frame is delivered with an X12 (12mm x
142mm) standard rear wheel axle.
Follow the manufacturer's
instructions.
Before riding make sure that the wheels
are tightly clamped by the quick release
mechanism.

REAR BRAKE DISC MOUNT
Your 987-989 frame has a rear brake disc
mount of Postmount type that allows directly
installing a Postmount calliper with a disc of
140 mm.
To do so simply install your calliper with the
screws and threaded cylinders that come
with the frame.
We also supply an aluminium Postmount
adapter for the use of a 160mm disc. This
adapter is inserted between the frame's tab
and your brake calliper. To attach it, use the
long screws that come with the adapter.
WARNING : Strictly respect the installation
direction of the adapter (arrow towards
the top) and use the longest screw where
the adapter is the thickest.
