INSTALLATION OF THE BOTTOM BRACKET
The bottom bracket of your 987-989 is to the LOOK BB65 standard. Adapters are installed on the
frame to make it compatible with bottom brackets to the Press Fit 30 73mm standard. Follow the
manufacturer's assembly, adjustment and maintenance instructions.
For the installation of the bottom bracket, we advise the use of an assembly stand holding the
frame by the front and rear wheel fasteners.
The LOOK patented saddle fixing device
allows the 3 available types of E-post to be
used:
• E-post R5: -5 mm lay back or + 5 mm forward,
reversible. This seat post is recommended
for the 987-989 and is delivered with the
frame.
• E-post: offering saddle setback of -15 to -45
mm micrometric.
• E-post R32: setback of -32 mm or advance
of+32 mm.
NOTE: The frame comes with a very long saddle tube
that has to be cut to achieve the E-Post (seatpost)
installation. The operating procedure is described
after the saddle mounting procedure on the seatpost.

ATTENTION:
BEFORE REMOVING YOUR BIKE'S SADDLE,
MEASURE THE SADDLE'S HEIGHT "A" AS IN
PHOTO 1 BELOW (from the axis of the chain
drive unit up to the saddle's hollow).
