6.4 LAN connection to the home network
This appliance is network capable. You can connect the
appliance to the home network using a LAN cable. A LAN
cable is not included and needs to be purchased sepa-
rately.
Establishing the LAN connection
Before installing the appliance, insert a LAN cable into

the socket on the back of the appliance.
Use the strain relief to secure the LAN cable in place.

Connect the LAN cable to a network.

Read these instructions to safely connect your appliance

to the electrical supply.
7.1 Electrical requirements
Make sure your electrical installation supports the follow-
ing requirements.
WARNING
Before installing, turn power OFF at the service panel.
Lock service panel to prevent power from being turned
ON accidentally.
IMPROPER GROUNDING CAN RESULT IN A RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK.
Consult a qualified electrician if the grounding instruc-
tions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists
as to whether the appliance is properly grounded.
If the power cord is too short, have a qualified electri-
cian install an outlet near the appliance.
DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD.
This appliance must be supplied with the proper voltage
and frequency and connected to an individual, properly
grounded branch circuit, protected by a circuit breaker or
fuse. To know the circuit breaker or fuse required by your
model, see the rating plate to find the wattage consump-
tion and refer to the ratings table to get the circuit breaker
or fuse amperage.

Local codes may vary.
Installation, electrical connections and grounding must
comply with all applicable local codes.

Circuit specifications: 208/240V AC, 60Hz, 15A, 3- wire,

dedicated grounded circuit from panel.
The outlet must be properly grounded in accordance
¡
with all applicable codes.
It is the responsibility of the installer to comply with local
¡
codes. If no local codes are applicable, wire in accor-
dance with the National Electrical Code (or Canadian
Electrical Code), ANSI/NFPA 70 - latest edition.
Minimum bend radius of the flexible conduit is
¡
6" (152 mm).
The electrical supply should be a 3-wire single–phase
¡
AC. Install a suitable junction box (not furnished).
7.2 Routing the electrical conduit cable
Requirements
A hole in the cabinet has been prepared to route the
¡
electric conduit from the oven to the junction box.
Serviceability must be maintained. Do not shorten the
¡
electric conduit cable. Route the electric conduit cable
in a way to permit temporary removal of the oven.
The electrical conduit cable swivels where it is con-
nected at the oven. Rotate the electric conduit cable up-
ward or downward and direct it through the prepared
hole in the cabinet.
