9. Leave the appliance switched on for
around 10 - 15 minutes.
10.Switch the appliance off by turning the
temperature regulator 9 to "0".
6.1 Preparing the appliance,
switching on and off
1. Select a location that is firm, level and
not flammable. Maintain a distance of
approx. 50 cm from other objects.
2. Turn the temperature regulator 9 to "0".
This switches the appliance off.
3. Grease the raclette pans lightly
inside. Lightly grease the top surface of
the grill plate 1.
Note: Use kitchen paper dipped in a
little cooking oil.
4. Plug the mains plug into a suitable mains
socket that corresponds to the technical
data.
5. Turn the temperature regulator 9
clockwise to MAX.
The indicator lamp 8 lights up and the
appliance heats up.
6. Allow the appliance heat up for around
10 minutes.
The appliance is now ready to use.
7. To turn the appliance off, turn the
temperature regulator 9 one notch
anticlockwise towards "0".
8. Remove the plug from the mains socket
after use. This is the only way to ensure
that the machine is completely free of
current.

11. Take out the mains plug and allow the
appliance to cool down.
12. Clean the appliance again. Observe the
information in the section entitled
"6. Operation" on page 39.

6. Operation

6.2 Regulating temperature

The best cooking temperature depends
chiefly on the type of food being cooked.
Note:
When
temperature to reheat food the indicator

temperature regulator 9 one notch

6.3 Preparing the raclette

1. Fill the raclette pans 7 with your chosen
ingredients.
Caution! Do not overfill the pans 7,
otherwise the ingredients could be too
thick and could burn.
2. Put the raclette pans 7 on the grill in the
recesses 4.
3. Remove the raclette pans 7 from the
appliance as soon as the ingredients are
cooked.
4. Slide the contents of the raclette pan 7
onto a plate using the wooden
spatula 11 and enjoy.
