Installation
Install the Milltronics C-40 flowmeter in an area that is suitable for the system
classification rating. Maintain sufficient clearance to permit:
• sensing plate installation and removal
• opening the sensing head cover for calibration purposes
Ensure the flowmeter inlet and outlet mounting surface are free from vibration.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the flowmeter into the desired location.
2. If necessary, shim the mounting brackets to establish level in both planes.
3. Fasten the housing discharge to the downstream material chute.
4. Fasten the flowguide to the material infeed chute.
5. Refer to the ILE-37 sensing head instruction manual for levelling, sensing plate
installation, and interconnection instructions.
Note:
Ensure sufficient mechanical support is provided for the flowmeter and
chutework for all operating conditions.
