INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (18.10)
This transpallet has been designed for lifting and transporting loads on top of pallets or standardized containers on
surfaces which are flat, smooth, and of suitable resistance. It is also fitted with a digital weight indicator and N°.
4 load cells tightly secured to the forks of the trolley which allow for all the various weighing functions described
below. Whenever using this transpallet TAKE GREAT CARE in observing the following regulations:
1) NEVER load the trolley with weights exceeding the maximum indicated on the name plate "X" (figure b/ page 2); a limiting
device protects the trolley against overloads;
2) The figure "A"/ page 2 explains just how the load must be positioned on the forks of the transpallet in order to avoid
creating hazardous situations;
3) It is strictly prohibited to use the trolley in environments where fire or explosion hazards exist;
4) Never load the forks if these are partially raised ;
5) Operating temperature 0°C / +40°C; in order to ensure the best possible results we recommend carrying out the wei-
ghing procedures in a area which is free from vibrations and has a moderate temperature (15-30°C) and moderate relative
humidity (40-70%);
6) Before beginning to work check for the perfect efficiency of the transpallet and all its components;
7) At the moment of weighing it is important to lift the forks by at least 5-10 cm in order to avoid any friction which could
result in weighing errors;
8) Never leave the indicating device exposed to the atmospheric agents;
9) Check that the main power supply for recharging the battery is delivered at between +/- 10% of the rated voltage of 220V ac.
10) It is forbidden to transport foodstuffs in direct contact with the truck.
11) The machine does not need to be in a specially lighted area. However provide adequate lighting to comply with appli-
cable working norms.
The name plate "X" (figure B/page 2) can be summarized as follows:
Q= MAXIMUM CAPACITY
MOD.= MODEL
DAT.= YEAR OF MAKE
NR.= SERIAL NUMBER
The table "Z" (figure B/ page 2) indicates the weight and useful length of the forks of the trolley itself.
The Manufacturer will not be held liable for any claims and/or responsibilities regarding breakdowns or injuries
caused by carelessness, the use of non-original spare parts, or improper use of the trolley.
USE
Use of this transpallet is extremely simple: by pressing the key On/Off, the machine is turned on. The display will first
indicate the status of the battery, for example Bt 8, and the current measuring unit, for example Kil. Subsequently,
a zero will appear on the display: at this point it is possible to carrying out the weighing operations. In order to vary
the measuring unit it is sufficient to press Kg/Lb.
In order to enter a tare, just press the key Tare.
KEYS FUNCTIONS (30.2)
ZERO KEY: for resetting the instrument.
TARE KEY: for temporarily resetting the instrument. The tare value obtained in this way is active until the next reset, the next
tare set, or until the instrument is switched off.
Kg/Lb KEY: converts the weight reading into one of the two measurement units: kilos or pounds.
On/Off KEY: for switching the instrument on and off.
If the On/Off key does not function and/or the display is switched off, or the message "bt 0" appears, this means that the
instrument's batteries are discharged.
LED FUNCTION
Kg LED: kilogram measurement unit being used.
Lb LED: pound measurement unit being used.
BAT LED: battery charge at low point, battery needs recharging.
BALANCING AND SETTING OF LOAD CELLS (31.2)
The pallet truck was set by the MANUFACTURER to ensure optimal accuracy and stability. Nevertheless, if you note an
indication error by using your sample weight, you can eliminate it with the calibration procedure on the keyboard.
Switch the instrument on and, during the initial display-check countdown, press the "zero" key and the "tare" key at the
same time - the instrument goes into calibration mode.
