CAUTION!
■ After replacing the needle, fi rst only check in manual mode by using the hand wheel
whether the machine sews neat stitches. Only activate the On/Off switch (5) or the foot
control once you have satisfi ed yourself in manual mode that the stitches are neat.

CAUTION!
■ Make sure before cleaning the device that it is switched off and the mains plug has
been removed from the plug socket.
■ Do not dismantle the housing of the sewing machine!
■ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents for cleaning. These
could damage the surface.
• Remove any fabric fi bres and remnants that may have collected from the bobbin
compartment using a fi ne brush.
• If necessary, wipe the housing with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry.

3. Hold the needle fi rmly and loosen the needle clamp
screw (8) by turning it towards you. You can now remove
the needle.
4. Insert the new needle up to the limit stop into the needle
clamp. The fl at side of the needle must be oriented to-
wards the needle clamp screw.
5. Hold the needle fi rmly and tighten the needle clamp screw.
1. Raise the presser foot lever.
2. Press the lever on the mount of the presser foot (towards
the needle) in order to loosen the presser foot.
3. Take a new presser foot and push its pin into the mount of
the presser foot. It must engage.
