cleanInG the PowDer sIlo
Carefully remove any deposits lteft on the inner
walls of the silo occasionally using a soft brush
or a dry cloth (approx. every third to fifth time
before filling with fresh investment powder).
caUtIon: The inner walls of the powder silo
have a special coating that can be damaged by
a scouring sponge or pointed object! Only soft
brushes or cloths should be used for cleaning!

cleanInG the ventIlator FIlter
UnIts
Check the ventilator of the cooling unit and control
unit (back of machine) at least every 4 weeks. In
order to do so, remove the plastic covers, inspect
the filter units and clean with water and/or com-
pressed air if necessary. caUtIon: do not insert
any damp filter units!
cleanInG the conveyor screw/sIlo
Before cleaning (at least every six months, and
whenever a change of investment material or an
error message appears), the investment material
in the silo has to be completely removed (powder
extraction - see „Operation"). Remove any
residues carefully with a vacuum cleaner. Make
sure you do not damage the surface of the silo's
inner walls!
To remove the screw, proceed as follows: Flip the
display upwards and open the silo closure. Release
the guard of the closure and lift the closure
completely upwards (see also „Cleaning the liquid
outlet"). Open the screw cap to the screw and
take out the conveyor screw.
Clean the screw with a dry cloth and then re-as-
semble the machine in reverse order.
