cleanInG FUnctIons

On menu level 2, item „Additional functions", you
can find the sub-items Water extraction, liquid
extraction and powder extraction. They serve to
get the relevant component out of the machine
(without measuring function) - e.g. before using
another investment, material or liquid.
The shaft return is part of the cleaning functions
- it should be used when the screw conveyor has,
for some unknown reason, not conveyed the
powder on or the conveyor is blocked.
All cleaning functions are selected by turning
and pressing the MFK and carried out by pressing
down the start button permanently - and will
carry on until the start button is released again.

MaIntenance/care

As with the majority of AmannGirrbach machines,
Smartbox Invest is designed to be maintenance-
free and that is why they are provided with a
maintenance-free conveying and dosing unit.
The machine must be kept clean at all costs. In
addition, please ensure that no fluid gets into
the conveying screw. Never clean the Smartbox
Invest with compressed air or a steam cleaner!
Switch the machine off before carrying out any
maintenance and cleaning work!
cleanInG the lIqUID oUtlet
Regularly check the outlet of the liquid hose and
the seal of the silo cover and clean if necessary!
To do so, flip the display up and open the silo
closure.
The seal of the silo cover can now be removed,
cleaned and re-fitted. Pull off the hose, loosen the
knurled thumb screw that fixes the small metal
outlet pipe, remove the outlet pipe and clean.
Release the guard of the closure and lift the
closure completely upwards (the silo closure
thus supports the display that has been flipped
upwards).
The seal of the silo cover can now be removed,
cleaned and re-fitted. Pull off the hose, loosen the
knurled thumb screw that fixes the small metal
outlet pipe, remove the outlet pipe and clean.
