for the amount of gypsum specified.
If the beaker control is inactive (select: NO), the
measuring starts up without any further report.
As standard, this is based on the permitted filling
quantity of all AmannGirrbach mixing beakers
(Startmix vacuum mixer). For the storage of
permitted filling quantities for other beakers,
see „Individual setting of beaker weights".
_ beaker weights
The values set here are used to define the per-
mitted filling quantities. As a standard, they are
based on the beaker weights of AmannGirrbach
Smartmix mixing beakers. You can overwrite
them with four individual beaker weights
(250 ml, 500 ml, 750 ml and 1000 ml correspon-
ding to the beaker descriptions of small, medium,
large, extra large).
_ service settings
Only available to the Technical Service of
AmmanGirrbach GmbH or authorised service
companies.
InDIvIDUal aDjUstMent oF the
beaker weIGhts
On menu level 1, select the item ‚Additional
functions' and then dial the sub-item ‚Scales'.
Pressing the start button (3) tares the scales.
Then position the beaker, read the weight off and
note it down. With the aid of MFK (1), select the
menu item ‚Basic settings' on menu level 1 and
then select ‚Beaker weights' on menu level 2. The
display now shows the beaker description „250 ml"
on the left-hand side and the pre-defined beaker
weight in grammes on the right-hand side
(AmannGirrbach Smartmix mixing beaker).
By turning the MFK, adjust the set beaker weight
to the previously weighed, individual beaker
weight (in 5 g increments). Confirm the selection
by pressing the MFK. By turning the multi-functio-
nal knob, now select the second of the four record-
able beaker weights, set it and confirm it by
pressing the MFK again. Record the two remaining
beaker weights in the same way. If no other beaker
weights are required, just skip them by pressing
the MFK. After entering the last beaker weight
(description „1000 ml"), the query „Store yes/no"
will appear. If you answer „yes", the beaker control
will then react as desired to the individually
recorded beaker weight.
oPeratIon
Before using the machine, the above-mentioned
basic settings have to be carried out. In order to
operate Smartbox Invest, there are basically two
modes of operation available:
_ individual measuring: direct amendment of
quantities and concentration without storage
function
_ stored measuring programs: retrieves up to 50
individually recorded programs (quantity,
concentration and program names can be
stored)
You must place the mixing beaker under the
outlet of Smartbox Invest before starting the
measuring process! Open and close the outlet
carefully!

Input powder quantity: turn/confirm by pressing
the MFK
Input concentration: turn/confirm by pressing
the MFK
Manually open silo closure (4) (otherwise there
will be an error message when pressing the start
