INTENDED USE
The product is intended for measuring temperature and is suitable for mounting on an instrument panel or
other casing. The front panel of the meter is water proof (IP65) and maintenance free. Two measurements
can be made with the two sensors provided. The product is powered by 230 V/AC, 50/60 Hz.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and
keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

a)

The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from
any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:

is visibly damaged,
-
is no longer working properly,
-
has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
-
has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
Products operated using the mains voltage must be kept out of the reach of children. For this
reason, be particularly careful when using the product in the presence of children. They may
try to stick objects into the device through openings in the housing. This poses a risk of death
by electric shock.
In schools, training facilities, hobby or self-service workshops, handling of electrical devices
must be monitored by trained personnel.
When operating on commercial premises, the relevant accident prevention regulations of
workers' compensation boards for electrical equipment must be observed.
Live parts may become exposed when opening covers or removing parts. You must therefore
disconnect the product from all power sources before performing any maintenance or repairs.
Capacitors in the device can still carry a charge even if the device has been disconnected from
all voltage sources.
Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses
a risk of injury.
Use only a proper mains socket (230 V/AC, 50/60 Hz) connected to the public power supply.
When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged by
sharp edges.
Make sure there are no devices with strong electric or magnetic fields such as transformers,
motors, cordless telephones and radio-controlled devices in the vicinity of the product as these
can influence the product.

Miscellaneous
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualified shop.
If you are not sure about the correct connection or use, or if questions arise which are not covered by
these operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our technical support or another qualified

OpERATION
The power source must be switched off before you connect the device.
1.
Unscrew the screw at the back cover and remove it from the meter.
2.
Connect the power line to the terminal 1 and 2 respectively. The live wire must be connected to terminal
1 and the neutral wire must be connected to terminal 2.

Set the DIP 3 to "ON" for using degree Fahrenheit as the unit. Set it to "OFF" for using degree Celsius
as the unit.
VERSION 10/11
Following a temperature change the proper unit will be displayed immediately, while the correct value
will be displayed approx. five minutes later. When using Fahrenheit as the unit, no unit will be shown
on the display.

For single channel measurement, set the DIP 4 to "OFF" and connect the two wires of a sensor to the
terminal 5, 6 (channel A).

To use the both channels, set the DIP 4 to "ON" and connect the two wires of the other sensor to terminal
3, 4 (channel B). The values will be displayed in circular manner. The dot is indicating which sensor's
value is currently displayed.
DIP 1 and 2 have no function.

Fasten the back cover with the screw.
7.
Mount the panel meter on an instrument panel or other casing. Adjust the mounts on the side of the meter
to fasten the meter. Put the sensor(s) to the desired location.
Only the front panel is protect against water jets. Do not expose the back part of the meter to outdoor
environment.
8.
Turn on the power source. The meter is now operating.
DISpOSAL
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
