GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

This use handbook is an integral and essential part of the product and must be delivered
to the users. Keep the present document and give it to any users coming after.
This automation is a "vertical-swing door"; it must be employed only for its own use. Any
other use is to be considered inappropriate and so dangerous. DITEC refuses all
responsibilities for any damage caused by an improper, wrong and irrational use.

USE PRECAUTIONS

• Do not enter the door action area during moving.
• In case of damage or bad working, turn the main switch off. The operations of
maintenance, adjustment and repair must be carried out by skilled and authorised staff.
• Each automation has its own "Installation and Maintenance handbook", reporting the
periodical maintenance plan. Please take care to check all the safety devices.
COMMANDS Operating selector (optional)
• Manual working: the opening and closing motions are driven by the relative command,
which can come either from a push-button panel or form external commands.
• "In man presence" command working: the motion lasts as long as the relative button is
kept pressed.
• Automatic closing working: after every opening command, at the running out of the
pause time, the door closes automatically. Time can be settled by trimmer TC (0÷30 s).
BUTTONS
• Partial opening (optional): through the selector operation, the door opens partially (open
width can be settled in time by trimmer RP).
• Full opening: through the button operation, the door opens fully. The stroke can be
settled by the stop microswitch.
• Closing: through the button operation, the door closes fully. The stroke can be settled by
the stop microswitch.
• Emergency push-button: it causes the complete stop of the door.
MANUAL RELEASE LEVER For emergency reopening.
Warning: before using the manual lever, turn the equipment off.
• When the lever is released, the brake is regularly working.
• Pulling the lever, the brake is unclamped.
To raise manually the panel, in case of power lacking or damage, act as follows:
• pull the release lever (fig. 1), releasing the brake;
• raise the panel on open door position (fig. 2);
• leave the lever back (fig. 3), in order to run the brake again.
STOP THE OPENING OF THE PANEL BEFORE THE SAFETY EDGE HITS THE
CROSSPIECE.
