3.6 Safety bar fitting

3.6.1 FITTING OF THE SICUR on the safety bar
(optional)
The safety bar,in case of safety edge with SICUR
device, is supplied with the photodiods TX and RX
capsules already inserted in the rubber profile. The
connection cables of the amplifier protrude from a hole
present on the rubber profile and are protected by a
special sheath.
Fit the amplifier on the safety bar following the
measures indicated, Fig. 11.

3.6.2 Fixing of the safety bar to the curtain

Fit the safety bar to the panel as indicated in Fig. 12.

pressure switch is monted, or from which the photocell
câbles are routed out (in the event of the Sicur device
in option) must be positioned in correspondence with
the left stanchion in which the cable chain is fitted.
3.6.3 Fitting of the cable chain to the safety bar
The cable chain is already fitted in the left stanchion
with the relative cable. Connect the free end of the
cable chain to the nylon slide of the safety bar, Fig. 13.
Manually check that all the chain links allow the
correct rotation of the cable chain. In the event of
obstruction, check the links, find those mounted upside
down and correctly assemble them.
