2.2 Energy Management System (EMS)

The EMS incorporates a hygrometer that monitors the pressure dewpoint of the air at the outlet of the dryer. At the point in the cycle when the
regenerating bed has been pressurised (180 seconds) both beds will be at line pressure and no purge air will be consumed. If the air at the outlet
is drier than the pre-set dewpoint, regeneration is not required and changeover is delayed. The ECO indicator on the front panel will illuminate at
this point to show that the dryer is in energy saving mode.
Changeover will occur after 1800 seconds or when the pressure dewpoint of the air at the outlet of the dryer rises above the upper pre-set
dewpoint.
