Activating the network function of
the robot vacuum cleaner
In order to connect your robot vacuum
cleaner to your WiFi network, you must
first activate the network function. The
network function is deactivated ex-
works.
There are two ways to activate the net-
work function.
Option 1 (Remote control)
Press the WIFI button.
The WiFi indicator lights up in the
display.
Option 2 (Display)
Press the Base sensor field for at
least two seconds.
The Base sensor field flashes during
activation. The WiFi indicator lights
up in the display as soon as the net-
work function is activated.
Start the app and set up a Miele user
account.
You can connect your mobile device
directly to the robot vacuum cleaner or
connect via your WiFi network.
Follow the instructions in the app.
Removing the WiFi module
Press the depression at the top of the
robot vacuum cleaner.
The lid of the storage compartment will
open.
Unlatch the dust box by lifting the
handle upwards.
Remove the dust box.
Pull the cover out from the front.
Remove the WiFi module.
Put the cover back on.
Video function
(for Scout RX2 Home Vision models,
use via the "Miele Scout RX2" app)
The camera on the right at the front of
the robot vacuum cleaner sends en-
crypted images in real time to the selec-
ted mobile device.
The video function indicator in the dis-
play flashes red when images are being
sent.
No video recording takes place.
