Monter le dispositif d'attelage universel
Insérez l'entretoise alu (1) dans l'attache pivotante (2) et fixez
cette dernière au cadre du Lepus à l'aide de la vis M8 longue(3),
de la petite rondelle (5) et de l'écrou nylstop (7), de façon à
ce que la rainure incurvée se trouve en bas. Insérez la vis M8
courte (4) avec la grande rondelle (6) dans la rainure incurvée
et fixez-la avec l'écrou nylstop (7) au cadre du Lepus. Le ser-
rage variera en fonction de l'utilisation.
D'autres pièces sont montées en fonction de l'utilisation.
Utilisation d'un deuxième Lepus comme tandem
Si un second Lepus doit être ajouté en tandem, le serrage des
deux vis M8 dans les écrous (1) et (4) doit permettre à l'at-
tache pivotante d'osciller librement autour de la vis du haut
sans qu'il n'y ait aucun jeu.
Attention !
L'attache (pivotante) doit pivoter librement sur son axe,
et les surfaces de frottement doivent être suffisamment
graissées, sans quoi la fourche du second Lepus, du fait des
contraintes en virage, pourrait s'arracher de l'attache et
être endommagée.
1. Insérez les entretoises (2) avec la partie longue dans le
tube de l'attache pivotante.
2. Démontez la roue avant du deuxième Lepus et retirez le
blocage rapide (3).
3. Placez la fourche sur les entretoises (2).
4. Réinsérez le blocage rapide (3) du deuxième Lepus à tra-
vers le tube de l'attache pivotante et serrez-le.

Installing the universal coupling
Attach the hitch (2) to the Lepus frame using the shorter M8

bolt (3) with the washer (5) and self-locking nut (7), posi-
tioning it with the slot beneath the two round holes. Put the
aluminium spacer (1) in to the hitch (2). Put the longer M8
bolt (4) with the small washer (6) to the hole and fix it with
the self locking nut (7). The required tightness of the bolts
(torque) depends on the intended use of the hitch.
The additional fittings required will depend on the intended
use.
For use with a second Lepus in tandem
If you are using the hitch to attach a second Lepus in tandem,
the two M8 bolts with nuts (1) and (4) must be loose enough
to allow the hitch to pivot freely from the upper bolt.
Caution!
The hitch must be able to pivot freely, and the contact
surfaces, well greased; otherwise, when cornering, the
fork of the second Lepus could be wrenched out of the
coupling and damaged.
1. Insert the long ends of the spacers (2) into the barrel of
the coupling.
2. Detach the front wheel of the second Lepus and remove
the quick release (3).
3. Slide the fork onto the spacers of the coupling (2).
4. Insert the quick release (3) of the second Lepus through
the coupling and secure it tightly.
