Introduction

The Martin Yale 2601 folding machine is designed for office and mail handling applications. It is equipped with two fold
plates and can therefore produce one single or two parallel folds. The special feature of this folding machine is the
computer-controlled automatic adjustment system for pre-programmed folding types and paper thickness adjustment.

3.1 Folding Principle and Fold Types

The most frequent fold types are pre-programmed. Half-, double parallel-, letter-, open gate fold, Z-fold and Z-fold with a
margin can be chosen directly.

Thanks to pre-programming, Martin Yale 2601 needs only a few seconds for setting these folds.
This is valid for formats A5, A4 and A3 as well as for one freely programmable format. This means that 24 settings are
permanently available. More convenience is not possible.
