V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
The log cutting saw is a machine intended to cutting firewood as detailed in these instructions, in
which the log is cut by means of rotating saw blade.
The log cutting saw is only suitable for stationary operation.
The saw is solely intended for private use for DIY and home/garden use.
Metal parts (e.g. nails, wire, etc...) must be removed from the log wood.
Do not use the machine for purposes not appropriate (e.g. cutting products containing hazardous
materials ...), or for any use not described in this manual
The machine is designed to be used by one person only. Other persons shall keep a sufficient distance
to the machine.
Observe and follow applicable national or local work safety standards with machines related to
accident prevention and safety regulations.
The machine may only be used and maintained by persons who are familiar with it and who have
been informed about the dangers connected to it.
Unauthorized modifications to the machine release the manufacturer, the distributor and/or reseller
from any liability for any resulting damage or injury.
The machine must only be used and repaired with original accessories and tools available from the
manufacturer or your local reseller.
- Do not use the machine for any other use outside the scope of this manual.
- Any other use different from that indicated in these instructions is deemed improper and may cause
damage to the machine and present a danger to the user.
- DO NOT use nor mount on the machine accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
Modifications to the machine, or use of parts not tested and approved by the equipment manufacturer
may cause unforeseeable damage
- The product is not intended for artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use.
- Do not use for applications not covered in this manual.
- The manufacturer or seller cannot be held responsible for incorrect or non-compliant use of machine.
- The user / operator will be held solely responsible. The manufacturer does NOT assume any liability
for any resulting damage or accident.
5.2- Application conditions
This log cutting saw is a home use model intended for outdoor use.
It is designed for operating under ambient temperatures between +5°C and 40°C and for installation at
altitudes no more than 1000m above M.S.L.
The surrounding humidity should less than 50% at 40°C.
It can be stored or transported under ambient temperatures between -20°C and 55°C, max humidity 80%.
5.3- Before operating the log cutting saw
1. Familiarize yourself with the controls and features of the log cutting saw (refer to the illustrations).
2. Before connecting the machine,
- Ensure that the machine is not damaged and that all screws are properly tightened.
- Ensure that the power cable is not damaged, and is positioned away from the blade rotation and does
not hinder the work.
- Control the machine so that there are no foreign objects that could be thrown out when switching on
the machine.
- Always position yourself so as not to be in the projection line of the tool and ensure that no object,
that the machine could grad, is nearby.
3. Plan your work site.
Work safely and save effort by planning your work beforehand.
