4.4- Blade assembly or replacement
Always wear protective gloves.
1. Disconnect the product from its power source.
2. Remove the hatched pin from the blade cover slipknot, and remove the slipknot, then tilt the cover
forward carefully.
3. Loosen the screw (41) fixing the blade outer flange, and carefully
remove the washer (40) and outer flange (39).
4. Carefully remove the saw blade.
5. Install a new saw blade (600mm x bore 30mm x thickness 4mm)
respecting the direction of rotation.
6. During assembly, firmly hold the blade against the inner flange (37);
then insert the outer flange (39), the washer (40) and the tighten with the
screw (41).
Note: Only use original flanges or flanges recommended by the manufacturer.
The use of other flanges may lead to accidents and severe injuries.
Note: Hold blade with caution during replacement and when moving it.
The blade is heavy and slippery; should it fall from your hands; it can cause serious injuries.
Warning:
- Injury hazard! Wear gloves when changing the blade.
- Immediately after cutting, the saw blade can be extremely hot – burning hazard!
Let the hot blade cool down.
Danger! Only use saw blades in compliance with the technical specifications and to EN 847-1 - parts
of unsuitable or damaged saw blades can be brutally projected like an explosion.
Do not use:
• high speed steel saw blades (HS or HSS);
• saw blades with visible damage;
• cutting wheels.
4.5- Electrical Requirements
With a 230V~ 50Hz motor, the machine should be connected to standard 230V10% (50Hz1Hz).
The mains connection should be fused for a maximum of 16A.
The electrical supply must be fitted with protection devices of under-voltage, over-voltage, and
over-current as well as a residual current device (RCD), which maximum residual current rated at
0.03A.
4.6- Moving the log saw
WARNING: The machine is very heavy, do NOT move by hand if you are not physically strong enough,
as a falling or tripping machine may cause considerable damage and severe injury!!
The log saw is equipped with 2 wheels for minor moves.
To move the log saw to the working area, hold the handle and slightly tilt the saw.
The wheels are not intended to carry or tow the log saw over long distances.
Do not tow on open road.
Do not use the saw to transport persons or objects.
