4.2.4- Choice of operating mode (choice of transmission channel
relative to the reception channel)
Two radio operating modes are available. The choice of operating mode is
performed using the DIPswitch «confi guration» and cursor No. 5.

Mode 1 :
«Transmitter / repeater Jump / Receiver» system operates with the same radio
channel.
The received radio signal on the radio channel No. x is repeated on the radio
channel No. x. This operating mode is limited to a single repeater.
Caution: Never use multiple repeaters in mode 1 on the same «Transmitter
!
/ Receiver» pair.
Mode 2 :
«Transmitter / reception Jump and transmission Jump / Receiver» system
operates with two different channels.
The received radio signal on the radio channel No. x is retransmitted on channel
No. y where y = x +10.
This mode allows multiple repeaters with a « Transmitter / Receiver» pair.
Caution : Considering the frequency jump performed, only the fi rst 54
!
channels are available. If the channel is set above No. 54, a confi guration
error is indicated by the Led LD5.
Confi guration and example : Transmitter on channel No. 22, repeater Jump on channel No.
22 and receiver on channel 32.
Turn on the «Transmitter / Receiver» pair.

Change the radio channel of the pair onto channel No. 32 (see procedure on product

technical manuals).
Turn off the receiver.

Change the radio channel of the transmitter onto channel No. 22.
4.
Turn on and confi gure the repeater onto radio operating mode 2 and radio channel No. 22.
5.
Enabling this mode is transcribed by a continuously fl ashing of the LED LD5.
Perform the «identity code learn» procedure (see Section 4.2.5).
6.
Turn on the «Transmitter / Receiver» pair, the radio message travels through the repeater

from radio channel No. 22 to radio channel No. 32.
Verify proper operation by turning off the repeater Jump. The safety relays of the receiver

must be deactivated in the duration of the passive shutdown of the system.
