MULTI-DECODING

The ECU with graphic display (128 x 128 pixels) has been upgraded with the Multi Decoding function which allows you to change the type of
decoding from (S449/S486 to S504/S508) by simply substituting the code memory module and choosing the series by selecting the 'ENCODING'
type in the menu. The presence of this function will be indicated by the sticker applied both to the product's external packaging

as well as to the front page of the relative instruction manual.
To pass from the radio system S449 to the S504 system with the MULTI-DECODING function:
- switch off the electricity supply to the electronic programmer;;
- replace the code storage module 24LC16 - S449 with the code storage module 24LC64 - S504;
- switch the power back on;
- select 'S504 ENCODING' from the menu on the digital display of the programmer;
REMOTE
- follow the procedure in the menu to memorise the S504 transmitter in the programmer;
MEMORISE REMOTE
- your installation will now work with the S504 system.
Extractable EEPROM memory module (M1 fig. 1-2)
ZGB24LC16-I/P series S449 and S486 contains the transmitter codes and allows you to memorise up to 300 codes.
ZGB24LC64-I/P series S504 and S508 contains the transmitter codes and allows you to memorise up to 1000 codes.
The programmed codes are maintained in this module even during blackouts. Before memorising the transmitters for the first time remember
to cancel the entire memory content. If the electronic card has to be replaced due to failure, the module can be extracted from it and inserted
into the new card. Make sure that the module is correctly inserted as shown in fig. 1-2.

Connecting the antenna

Connect an ANS400 (series S449 and S504) or an ANQ800-1 (series S486 and S508) tuned antenna between the following binding posts:
27 - Outer conductor for radio receiver antenna
28 - Inner conductor for the radio receiver antenna (if an external antenna is fitted use a coaxial type cable RG58 with an impedance of 50Ω),
max. length 15 m.
