Test ride

After you have fitted your CF3 seat post according the instructions, it is time for a
short careful test ride on smooth pavement with little traffic or other hazards.
Make sure that the seatpost does not slip into the frame. Do not over tighten the
clamp to compensate. Over tightening may lead to the seat tube failing, and
irreparably damage the frame or the seat post.
As a result of tolerances in the frame production process, it may be the case that
your frame seat tube is too large for the seatpost, despite indicating it is a 27.2
mm seat tube. The seatpost will then slip in the frame, even when correctly
tightened. If this is the case please use the included Anti-Slip shim. This
corrosion resistant, 0.25mm thick shim is made of high strength Carbon Fiber
Composite.
