IDENTIFICATION OF DANGER

A rapid evaporation of the liquid can cause freezing. The vapours are heavier than air and can cause suffocation by reducing the oxygen
available for respiration.

In the event of unconsciousness, place the person on one side in a stable position and call a
doctor. Do not administer anything to an unconscious person. In case of irregular breathing
or respiratory arrest, apply artificial respiration. In case of persistence of symptoms, call a
doctor.
Take the person outdoors. Place him in a resting position and keep him warm. Artificial
respiration and/or oxygen may become necessary.
Wash with warm water. Remove all contaminated clothing immediately.
Rinse thoroughly with plentiful water, including under the eyelids.
Contact a doctor.
Do not administer adrenalin or similar substances.
Acute toxicity when inhaled; excessive exposure may be harmful to health as follows:
• Serious respiratory insufficiency
• Narcosis
• Irregular cardiac activity
Increase of the pressure
In case of fire, use a respiratory device with independent air source.
Use extinguishing systems compatible with the local situation and with the surrounding
environment. Cool the containers/cisterns by spraying with water.
Do not disperse in the environment.
Evaporates
• Make sure there is a sufficient exchange of air and/or exhaust system in the work places.
For salvage and maintenance works, dismantling and disposal, use an autonomous
respiratory device. The vapours are heavier than air and can cause suffocation by
reducing the oxygen available for respiration.
• Protect your hands with gloves that insulate from heat.
• Protect your eyes with safety goggles.
• Manipulate following good practices of industrial hygiene and safety.
Keep the container hermetically closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store in the original
containers.
There are no materials that require specific mention.
Usable with re-conditioning
The depressurised containers must be sent back to the supplier.
