generator power settings that exceed peak-
to-peak RF voltage of 500 Volts.
When using the CODMAN
Bipolar Electrosurgical Generator or the
generator of the MALIS
System CMC
power settings are as follows.
Coagulation:
90 Malis Units (25 Watts) = 500 Volts
Cutting:
60 Malis Units (20 Watts) = 500 Volts
For other generators, refer to the operator's
manual to determine the maximum allowable
power settings.
Activating the electrosurgical unit simultaneously
with the aspiration/irrigation might alter the path
of electrical energy away from the tissue.
Use only with the following bipolar cords
available from Codman.
For use with the CMC-V generator:

For use with the CMC-III generator:
REF 80-1186 or REF 80-1188
