1 Connecting the
keyboard
1 Run the cable in one of the ducts on the
underside of the keyboard so that it comes
out of the keyboard on the left, the middle or
the right.
2 Connect the keyboard to the USB port of the
PC/laptop.
The keyboard is ready to use without
installing any software. Regularly check that
the software is up to date (see 8.2 "Updating
the firmware").
2 Attaching the palm rest
NOTE: The magnet in the keyboard
can wipe storage media and
damage mechanical watches
There is a magnet of strength N48H on the
front of the keyboard for attaching the palm
rest.
• Do not put any storage media such as SD
cards or external hard drives, or
mechanical watches near the front of the
keyboard.
• Push the projecting metal part of the palm
rest into the recess below the space bar on
the keyboard.

3 Adjusting the volume

The symbols for adjusting the volume are
secondary functions of F1 to F3.
To make multiple adjustments: see
5 "Activating/deactivating the FN key".
• To adjust the volume, press the FN key and
the appropriate key as shown in the table.
Example:
To switch the sound on or off, press the FN
key and F1 (
).
The keyboard saves the setting.
The keys have the following functions:
