• The unit with the integrated frequency convert-
er (TWU 3-...-HS-I) turns automatically in the
correct direction.
• On the version with the external frequency
converter (TWU 3-...-HS-ECP), the direction of
rotation is shown on the display and can be set
via the menu. Please refer to "Setting the operat-
ing parameters".
6.3. Operation and function (TWU 3-...-HS-ECP)
After all the assembly work is completed, the
operating parameters must be adjusted on the
frequency converter.
These adjustments are only possible on the
version "ECP". On the version "I" with the internal
frequency converter, no other adjustments are
possible.

connected correctly. If the power connection is
faulty, the LED does not light up.
• Red LED:
The red LED lights up when a fault has occurred.
Refer to the fault list to see what fault has
occurred.
• Yellow LED:
The yellow LED indicates the operating state
of the pump. If the LED lights up, the pump is
running. If the LED is off, the pump is in waiting
mode.

The user parameters can be displayed and
changed in stand-by mode and during operation.
Use the arrow buttons to switch between the
individual parameters, and the "+" and "-" button
to change a value.
1.
Normal operation: During normal operation,
the pressure currently measured is shown on the
display, with a bar indicator for the current speed
of the motor.
Stand-by mode: If the pump is in stand-by mode
2.
or the power supply is interrupted, the pressure
last measured is shown on the display as well as
"Stand-by". There is no automatic switch-on in
stand-by mode!
Pmax: You set the pressure for the system with

the Pmax value. The set pressure is available at all
the tapping points.
Language: The user language can be set here.
4.
You can choose between several languages.
6.3.2. Setting the installation parameters
All the parameters are shown on the display of
the frequency converter. The buttons under the
display are used to navigate the menu and change
the values.

The installation parameters are hidden in the
menu in normal operation and are only required
during installation. To access these menu items,
the pump must be switched to stand-by mode.
Then hold down the "+" and "-" buttons simulta-
neously for 5 seconds.
Use the arrow buttons to switch between the
individual parameters, and the "+" and "-" button
to change a value. To exit the menu again, press
the "ON/OFF" button.
Delta P: As soon as you open a tapping point,
1.
the pressure drops in the system. The differential
pressure "Delta P" can be set to prevent the pump
from starting each time a tapping point is opened.
This value specifies the difference to "Pmax" from
which the pump is switched on (Pmax - Delta P =
pump starts).
Coastdown period: This value specifies how

points are closed. Increasing the value can also
