Technical refinements of the Aquatimer Chronograph
Your IWC watch shows you the time in hours, minutes
and seconds, the date and the day of the week. With the
integrated chronograph, you can measure any length of
time up to 12 hours in seconds, minutes and hours. The
duration of the dive is read off on the rotating bezel
situated inside the case, which for safety reasons can only
be adjusted in an anti-clockwise direction via the reset
button. The mechanical movement with automatic winding
and a power reserve of at least 44 hours when fully wound
contains 25 jewels (synthetic rubies). Your Aquatimer
Chronograph is shock-proof, water-resistant 12 bar and
protected by sapphire glass of hardness grade 9 on Mohs'
scale. To ensure that this extraordinary watch continues to
perform its tasks in the future, it is essential to observe
