7.2.2 Tightening torques

Torque guideline values for metric shaft screws to DIN EN ISO 4762 at 90% use of the 0.2 %
expansion limit, for a coefficient of friction of 0.14.

information for installing your application.

7.2.3 Installation with fixings

During all installation work, observe the specified torques for the screws used. Note the strength
of the screws and separate information for accessories supplied. Only compliance with the
conditions guarantee the safety and long working life of the linear shaft. Take the values from the
table in these instructions.
Mounting on the linear unit on the base
Sliding block fixings
This linear unit can be fixed with RK sliding block fixings 2 on
a suitable base. The RK sliding block fixings are swivelled,
positioned and fixed in the section grooves 1 on the
underside.

Clamping rail fixings
This linear unit can be fixed to a suitable base with RK
clamping rails 3. The RK clamping rails are placed against the
lower, lateral profile grooves 4, positioned and secured to
the prepared base.
