WARNING!
• The electrical power supply may only be performed by qualified personnel
with specialist knowledge.
• Before carrying out any work on electrically operated components, make
sure that they are disconnected from the power supply.
• Route the refrigerant hoses and electrical connection cables according to
the flow chart (fig. e, page 9), schematic wiring diagrams (fig. f,
page 10 and fig. g, page 10), circuit diagram (supplementary sheet) and
installation instructions (see chapter "Instructions on handling cables and
hose lines" on page 26).
9.5.1 Drilling feed through for cables
➤ Drill a feed through in the vehicle floor behind the row of seats (diameter and
position see fig. h, page 11).
9.5.2 Mounting relay bracket and preparing plug connections
Proceed as illustrated (fig. i, page 11):
➤ Mount the relay bracket at a suitable point on the rear interior wall.
➤ Attach the relay and fuses of the evaporator cable set to the relay bracket.
➤ Lay the connection cables for the evaporator in the loading area.
➤ Connect the evaporator cable set with the control unit cable set in accord-
ance with the circuit diagram (fig. f, page 10, fig. g, page 10 and supple-
mentary sheet).
➤ Connect the extension cable for the DC unit in accordance with the circuit
diagram (fig. f, page 10, fig. g, page 10 and supplementary sheet).
➤ After installation, cover the relay with the cover.
9.5.3 Connecting cables to the evaporator
Proceed as illustrated (fig. j, page 12):
➤ Route the refrigerant hoses to the evaporator.
➤ Connect the refrigerant hoses.
