Functional Check
Passive modes No DIGITEX is required for these checks.
With the DIGICAT in power mode, walk over the test area. Note the following:
• The DIGICAT begins making a sound as you approach the cable.
• That DIGICAT gives a peak response on the bar display when the DIGICAT is directly over
the cable.
• The sound stops as you move away from the peak response position.

Once all these have been done repeat the test with the DIGICAT in radio mode.
