g) Depth function button
To read the depth of a signal, the button should be pressed once for line mode or pressed
and hold for sonde mode. Depth measurement only functions with the DIGICAT switched to
33 kHz and used in conjunction with a DIGITEX (line) or DIGIMOUSE (sonde).
The button is also used to activate the wireless data link and export the data to a compatible
wireless computing device.

DIGICAT 100/200
Selects DIGICAT operating mode.
Displays the selected mode Power, Radio,
8 kHz, 33 kHz (as shown, from bottom to top).
Flashes when approximately 20% of battery
life remains. The rate of flashing increases as
the battery life declines.
Indicates the response of the DIGICAT to a
signal.
Light to show whether the DIGICAT is meas-
uring depth in line or sonde (DIGIMOUSE)
mode.
Shows the depth to the source of the signal
(line or sonde) when in depth mode; displayed
in metric or ft / inch units depending on the
model. Refer to "6 How to Use the DIGICAT" for
a full explanation.
It also shows that the logging feature is avail-
able and that data is being output; only avail-
able with DIGICAT 200GIS.
