ELECTRODE DETECTION FUNCTION

During a treatment session, the controller continuously monitors its connection with the electrodes and can detect
if they are in proper contact with both the shorts and your skin. If the controller detects poor contact, it will alert
you to the problem and you can take the necessary steps to correct the issue.
If an electrode issue is detected:
The stimulation will stop until the problem is fixed.
The warning symbol (
The controller will beep continuously until you switch it off and fix the problem.
The electrode contact symbol (
1-8 (Fig. 62). These numbers relate to the specific electrode(s) causing the issue
on the shorts. See Fig. 63 to see where each numbered electrode is positioned
on your body (there may be more than one).
Possible causes:
Poor contact between the electrode(s) and the skin.
Poor electrode condition (i.e. with damaged surface following too many sessions).
The shorts are in the incorrect position.
How to fix an electrode detection fault:
1.
Reconnect the lead to the shorts, ensuring they are fully clicked into place and
begin the treatment again.
2.
If issue persists, switch off the controller by pressing the On/Off button (
seconds and disconnect the lead from the shorts.
