N.B. The use of filters for limescale removal are recommended.
WARNING : When using the machine for the first time, if the water mains connection is chosen, an
acoustic warning alarm will go off. From the display, set the water from "mains" input and restart the
machine: from the home screen (page 3) press the

Make sure that the lever, positioned under the drip-tray, (fig. 9, table 1) is in the desired position.
If this is not carried out, and the knob of the tap is located in the position opposite the water
entry, the pump could be damaged (directly verify from the adhesive label placed near the tap.
See image below).

IMPORTANT:

Lack of water can cause damage to the pump and the resistance. Therefore, if he pump makes a
noise that is different than usual when in use and, at the same time, the pressure gauge reads a
lower pressure level, the machine must be immediately turned off using the specific button
(fig. 12 , table 1).
ADJUSTING THE PUMP:
The pump of the machine is adjusted and set on a value of approximately 10 bar for the model
that connects to the water mains and between 9-9.5 bar for the model that connects to the
reservoir.
This value can be changed by lifting the lever of the group head, reading the value of 0-16
bar pressure gauge, and adjusting the pump as per the following instructions:
•
Position the blind filter (supplied with the machines) in the portafilter, previously
removing the filter that is already present.
•
Lift the lever of the group head, and read the value on the 0-16 bar pressure gauge.
If the pressure must be increased, turn the screw clockwise using a screwdriver.
•
If the pressure must be decreased, turn the screw counterclockwise using a screwdriver
(fig.5, table 2).
If the machine is used connected to the water mains supply, remember to set the
"WATER SUPPLY" function from both the front lever, positioned behind the tray , (fig.9
table 1) and from the
display.
