N.B. Set according to the hardness of the water that is used in the machine. The water hardness can be
easily detected through instruments available on the market, or by contacting a reliable technician.

7. BARISTA MENU

7.1 WATER ENTRY

7.1. 1 FILLING FROM RESERVOIR

Fill the reservoir with clean water, with a low calcium content (for greater care and a better result) after lifted the
upper grill (Fig. 1, table 2), being careful not to spill water into the machine .
Make sure that the lever, located under the drip-tray, (fig. 9, table 1) is in the desired position.
7.1.2 FILLING FROM WATER MAINS
Connect the water entry pipe and the drain hose (if there is a drain hose nearby, otherwise leave the drain
tray plugged) respectively to the water filling fastening connector and the plastic tray, as shown in figure 2
and figure 3 of table 2 then, with the lever, select the water entry (fig. 9, table 1), remembering to open the
water tap if filing directly from the water mains.

If you use the machine with the reservoir, set the front lever, positioned behind the
tray, (fig.9, table 1) to "reservoir" and also to "reservoir" on the display.
In this case, make sure there is water in the reservoir, otherwise an acoustic and visual
alarm will go off (Paragraph 11 – Alarms).
