- b) Powering risers + panels mode: This way the power reaches each of the risers and
also the street panels (in case the street panel does not have local power).
The output risers are automatically powered by the power source and filtered by the
splitter and the input risers can also be powered by the power source in the case that
the input bus is not powered. To use this operating mode it must be configured as
followed:
• In this mode the SW1 switch must be in the ON position.
• Connect the power source (18Vdc) to the splitter input +18V.
• Check that the red PWR LEDs are lit for the output risers B1 and B2.
• Connect the output risers B1 and B2. These must come from the PREV BUS from
filter ref. 3243 or not be powered.
The input splitter (B/B) must NOT be powered. Connect the input riser and check
that the red PWR LEDs are lit.
