10) Carefully insert the new cartridge into the head (Fig. 15).
11) Completely insert the cartridge until the cartridge end face aligns
with the end face of the handpiece head (Fig. 16). If the cartridge
cannot be inserted all the way, the washer or O-ring may be
misaligned. In this case, remove the parts from the head and repeat
the assembly from "8)".
12) Tighten the head cap with the correct head cap wrench.
* Refer to Spare Parts List to identify the correct cartridge.
CAUTION
After the cartridge removal, be sure to confirm that the old O-ring and washer have also both been removed. If they
are left inside the head, the new O-ring and washer cannot be attached correctly (The old O-ring and washer may be
removed together with the cartridge.).
Depending on the condition of the handpiece, cartridge components may become disassembled in the cartridge and
removal could be difficult. In this case, insert tweezers and remove any residue component (Fig. 17).
Use only a genuine NSK cartridge.
