Note: Guy wires are included only if the fan's extension tube is 4 ft (1.2 m) or longer or if ordered separately.
A. Attach locking carabiners to main fan unit
Attach four locking carabiners to the brackets on the main
fan unit. Securely tighten the carabiners.
B. Attach beam clamps and guy wires to mounting structure
Secure each beam clamp to the mounting structure at approximately
45° from the horizontal plane. Fully tighten the set screw to secure
the clamp. Fasten the small eyebolt and nut onto the clamp. The nut
will be on the outside of the clamp.
Loop the crimped end of each guy wire into a locking carabiner and
secure to each eyebolt. Securely tighten the carabiners. For best
results, the guy wires should be installed at 45° in the X-Y, Y-Z, and
X-Z planes. If the angle deviates by more than 15°, contact Customer
