use the number keys to key in the value of
the heart rate that you want to keep constant
during the entire workout (e.g. 142) and then
press ENTER.
The display will show:
TIME = 0
use the number keys to key in the duration
of the workout in minutes (e.g. 15) and then
press ENTER.
The equipment emits a beep and the workout
begins.
The columns of the altimetric profile
proportionately show the effort level in terms
of height. They light up one after the other
until they cover the entire amount of time set.
The flashing column represents the current
level.
The index corresponding to the effort level
and the indicator light for the CHR function
are lit.
If they have been enabled during
configuration (see section 3.2), during the
workout:
-
the (+) and (–) keys let you vary (in steps
of one) the value of the target heart rate;
-
the ENTER key lets you increase the
remaining workout time in increments of
1 minute for each time you press the key.
At any time, you can:
-
interrupt the workout for a pause with the
STOP or CLEAR key;
-
end the workout by pressing the STOP
key twice.
If you pause after pressing STOP or CLEAR,
and then press the QUICK START key, the
workout resumes. If you press STOP again,
the workout ends and the equipment returns
to Standby. The equipment guides the user
with the following two messages:
STOP: END
QUICK START: RESTART
At the end of the workout, the equipment
switches to the cooling down mode.
The display shows the performance index
(P.I. see section 3.10) value:
P.I. = 6
you may now insert the Smartkey* to save
the results.
