OW TO CHANGE CONTROL PANEL SETTINGS
The maximum programable time for each
exercise is set next:
MAX TIME = 20
Key in the time in minutes. To save the
selection, press ENTER.
Then enable the (+) and (–) keys to modify
the value of the reference heart rate for CHR
type workouts:
+/- KEYS / CHR = ON
To select the
corresponding number key:
1 to disable the "+" and "–" keys
(OFF appears)
2 to enable the "+" and "–" keys
(ON appears)
then, to save the selection, press ENTER.
The function keys are then disabled so that
the equipment can only be used with the
Smartkey*:
FUNCTION KEYS = ON
To choose the setting, press the
corresponding number key:
1 to disable the function keys
(OFF appears)
2 to enable the function keys
(ON appears)
then, to save the settings, press ENTER.

duration of Manual and CHR workouts with
the ENTER key:

The priority of the heart sensor or chest band
is then chosen for those times when both
signals are detected:
CHEST BAND PRIORITY
To select the
corresponding number key:
1 for CHEST BAND PRIORITY
2 for HEART SENSOR PRIORITY
It is recommended that the heart sensor (2)
be assigned priority if there is a high level of
interference between the different chest
bands when different equipments are closely
spaced together. On the other hand, it is
recommended that the chest band be
assigned priority if you want uninterrupted
measurement of the heart rate.
To save the selection, press the ENTER key.
At this point return to Standby.
If the CLEAR key is pressed at any time, the
procedure is interrupted and the equipment
returns to Standby mode.
