10.6 FREQUENCY AND DUTY CYCLE MEASUREMENT
Do not conduct frequency or duty cycle measurements on live
circuits.
1. Set the rotary switch in the "Hz%" position.
2. Press "SELECT" to choose the frequency or duty cycle measurement
mode.
3. Connect the red test lead to "VHz" jack and the black one to the
"COM" jack.
4. Connect the test leads to the source being measured and read the LCD
display.
10.7 BATTERY TEST
1. Set the rotary switch in the 1.5V or 9V position.
2. Connect the test leads to the battery to be tested and read the LCD
display.
10.8 DATA HOLD
Press " " to lock the displayed value. Press again to exit.
10.9 BACKLIGHT
Hold " "pressed for 2 seconds to switch the backlight on or off. The
backlight will also switch off automatically.
10.10 RELATIVE MEASUREMENT
Press " " to measure the relative value or to exit the function.

11. Battery and Fuse Replacement

WARNING: To avoid electrical shock always disconnect the test
leads prior to opening the housing. To prevent fire hazards, only use
fuses with the same ratings as specified in this manual.
Remark: refer to the warning on the battery compartment
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device.
Refer to an authorized dealer for service and/or spare parts.
Disconnect the test leads from the test points and remove the test
leads from the measuring terminals before replacing the batteries or
fuses.
