Emptying the pan

. Turn off appliance and let it cool down.
● Only allow the deep-frying fat to cool down so that it is no longer hot, but can still flow well.
. Wear shoes, gloves resistant to fat and heat and a leather apron.
. Put a closable container with carrying handles below the drain that is large enough and can with­
stand the temperature.

WARNING! Hot deep-frying oil/fat!
Risk of burning when emptying due to hot deep-frying oil/fat!
. Wear safety goggles!
. Wear protective gloves against hot deep-frying oil/fat!
Drain tap lever

CAUTION! Slippery floor due to deep-frying oil/fat!
Danger of slipping!
. Immediately clean any fat splashes off the floor!
. 1. Lift the lever, 2. Open the drain tap by turn­
ing anticlockwise.
. Supervise the emptying procedure.
● Only fill the container 3/4 full!
. When the deep-frying oil/fat has completely
drained, close the drain tap.
. Firmly close the container with a lid and label it
with a notice "hot material".
Handle
. Remove frying basket and insertable sieve
from the tub.
. Swivel up the heating element using the
handle.
. Check to make sure that the locking automati­
cally engages and that the heating element
remains in the swivelled position.
Swivelling in the heating element
. Use the handle and lift the heating element.
. Swivel forward the locking and hold there.
. Swivel heating element in.
CAUTION! Hot heating element, hot
surfaces!
Risk of burning when swivelling in
the heating element!
. Wear protective gloves!
