Troubleshooting Chart for the First Step Select Therapy System
Problem
Therapy control unit is ON,
therapeutic surface is in ated but not
receiving warm air.
Therapeutic surface feels warmer
than expected.
Therapeutic surface does not respond
when InstaFlate is activated.
Therapeutic surface does not respond
when seat de ate is activated.
Therapeutic surface does not respond
when comfort adjust is activated.
Therapy control unit does not respond
to adjustment from control buttons.
Cause
Heater not operating properly.
Warmer is on too high or warmer is not
operating properly.
Hoses kinked or not properly
connected.
Therapy control unit may be damaged.
Hoses kinked or not properly
connected.
Therapy control unit may be damaged.
Hoses kinked or not properly
connected.
Therapy control unit may be damaged.
Therapy control unit may be damaged.
Remedy
Return therapy control unit for repair.
Turn warmer OFF. Recheck after 10
minutes. If therapeutic surface is still
too warm, return therapy control unit
for repair.
Ensure hoses are free of kinks and
properly connected.
Return therapy control unit for repair.
Ensure hoses are free of kinks and
