3) Set flow rate selector (c) of portable canister to 0.

sation collection tray (f : portable

5) Align and lower the portable cani-
ster vertically onto opening (3) in
the cover of the stationary canister.
6) Lock the transfer device by pres-
sing vertically on the upper part of
the portable canister in the axis of
the fittings .

7) Lower vent lever (e) of the port-
able to 45°; at this moment, a dull
hissing sound due to the escape of
oxygen gas is heard.

8) The portable canister is full after
approximately one minute, when
the hissing due to the escape of
gas changes and a dense white
vapour escapes from the cover of
the stationary canister.

9) Raise vent lever up to its original
position.

10) Disengage the portable canis-
ter by simultaneously pulling up-
wards on the handle and pushing
unlocking button (6).
11) The white vapour escape must
stop in a while.

To avoid malfunction during filling
of the portable, remove all humidity
trace on the filling openings which
may form ice blocking stationary
filling outlet in open position.
In case fittings are stuck due to frost,
few minutes for the frosted parts to warm up and disengage
the portable canister as soon as the frost has melted.
In case of liquid oxygen leakage after disconnection of
portable canister, immediately reconnect the portable can-
ister to the stationary canister, then separate them again. If
the leak persists, reconnect the canisters again and ask the
distributor for assistance.
12) Check fill level (a) with electronic level indicator.
13) Reinstall condensation collection tray and the piece of
felt inside.
14) At the end of use, turn off the unit by setting flow rate
selector knob (c) to 0.

Remove the piece of felt placed in the water collection cover
(portable canister), then dry it after each use.
Note : After each use, leave the portable canister in a
vertical position (even when empty).

filters, batteries, ....) must be disposed of in accordance with
the appropriate hospital procedures.
