Servicing the generator
 Oil with single grade oil viscosity:
Select the appropriate viscosity according to the average temperature
on-site.
Change the oil as follows (fig. 5, page 5):
➤ Allow the generator to run warm for three to five minutes so that the oil
can drain off faster and completely.
➤ Take the dipstick (1) out of the filler neck (2).
➤ Place a suitable receptacle (4) near the oil hose (5).
➤ Loosen the clamp (3).
➤ Take off the oil hose (5) and let the oil drain off into the receptacle (4).
➤ Put the oil hose (5) onto the hose-end fitting.
➤ Fasten the oil hose (5) with the clamp (3).
➤ Pour fresh oil into the filler neck (2).
The maximum amount of oil is 0.9 l.
The oil level must be between the maximum and the minimum notches of
the dipstick (1).
➤ Put the dipstick (1) back into the filler neck (2).
10.5 Changing the fuel filter

Only dispose of pollutants at a specialist recycling station and
observe the local laws for environmental protection.
Change the fuel filter as follows (fig. 6, page 6):
➤ Provide a suitable receptacle to catch any fuel leaks.
➤ Loosen the clamps (1).
➤ Remove the fuel filter (2).
➤ Insert the new fuel filter.
➤ Tighten the clamps (1).
