Stationner le Pino

Avec la béquille double Hase disponible en accessoire, vous pou-
vez stationner le Pino en toute sécurité. Il est conçu pour sup-
porter la charge des bagages et des cyclistes. Nous préconisons
particulièrement son emploi si vous emmenez des enfants. Vous
pourrez attacher l'enfant sans courir le risque que le Pino ne se
renverse.
Attention !
Béquillez toujours le Pino sur les deux pieds de la béquille, de
sorte que les contraintes qu'ils subissent soient équilibrées.
L'appui de la béquille sur un seul de ses pieds risque de
provoquer sa casse.

Transporter des enfants

Du fait de la position allongée, le Pino est particulièrement adapté
pour emmener des enfants. Pour les enfants qui n'atteignent pas
les pédales même quand la bôme est réglée au plus court, nous
proposons un pédalier enfant supplémentaire réglable en longueur,
ainsi que des poignées enfant. Cela permettra aux enfants de par-
ticiper activement au pédalage dès qu'ils mesurent environ 1 m. En
associant une attache spécifique et la remorque à pédalage actif
Trets, vous pouvez emmener un autre enfant qui participera égale-
ment au pédalage.
Transporter le Pino sur un porte-vélo pour auto
Vous pouvez transporter le Pino sur un porte-vélo classique, de
toit ou arrière.
Réduisez la longueur hors tout (cf. section suivante). Ôtez la toile
du siège. Avant le transport, ôtez tous les éléments susceptibles de
se détacher pendant le trajet. Positionnez le Pino sur le porte-vé-
lo. Arrimez les deux roues ainsi que le cadre. Assurez-vous que la
fixation du Pi ne puisse pas se relâcher.

Raccourcir le cadre en vue du transport

Si vous devez transporter le Pino en voiture, en train ou tout
autre véhicule, vous pouvez réduire sa longueur totale en rentrant
totalement la bôme dans le cadre.
1. Repérez sur la graduation la position de la bôme dans le cadre
et mémorisez-la. Ainsi, vous retrouverez plus facilement la
position initiale.
2. Raccourcissez le cadre au maximum. La procédure est décrite
à la section « Réglage du cadre en longueur » p. 8.

Parking the Pino
The Pino can be parked securely using the HASE Double Kicks-
tand available as an accessory. The kickstand is designed to sup-
port the weight of the luggage and riders when the tandem is
parked. We especially recommend the Double Kickstand when the
front rider is a child. This feature allows you to help the child get
onto the seat and fasten the safety belt with no danger of tipping.
Caution!
For Pinos with a Double Kickstand: Always ensure that the
Pino is resting evenly on both legs of the kickstand when par-
ked. If the Pino is supported by a single leg of the kickstand,
the leg may break.
Transporting children
The recumbent position of the front seat is ideal for children. If
the child's feet do not reach the pedals when the front boom is
fully inserted (shortest frame setting), we offer an additional, re-
positionable Children's Crankset) and Children's Grips. With this
crankset, children as small as 1 meter (3' 3") in height can pedal in
the front seat. An additional child can be transported (and pedal
along) by hitching a Trets trailer to the Pino.
Transporting the Pino on a car rack
The Pino can be transported with a standard roof or rear-
mounted bicycle carrier. Reduce the frame length (see next sec-
tion). Remove the seat cover. Remove all parts that could become
loose during transport. Place the Pino on the car rack. Secure the
two wheels and the frame. Ensure that the Pino cannot become
loose during transport.
Reducing frame length for transport
The Pino can be adjusted to its most compact state for trans-
portation by car, train, or other vehicle by fully inserting the front
boom.
1. Memorize the position of the front boom in the main frame
with the hepl of the scale. This makes it easier to reassemble
the bicycle with its original dimensions.
2. Adjust the frame to its shortest length. For more information,
see "Adjusting the frame length" on page 8.
