3 Getting started

Installing the lter

Note
Make sure that the appliance is
•
unplugged before installing the
lter.
Before using the appliance, remove all
packaging materials from the lter and
place the lter into the appliance as
described as follows.

Pull the top part of the rear panel to
remove it from the appliance
( g.c).

Take out the lter and the pre- lter
( g.d).

Remove all packaging materials
from the lter ( g.e).

Place the lter into the dehumidi er
and then the pre- lter ( g.f).
Note
Make sure that the lter and the
•
pre- lter are properly attached to
the dehumidi er.

Reattach the rear cover by pressing
the bottom part of the rear cover
onto the appliance rst (1). Then,
gently push the rear cover against
the body of the appliance (2)
( g.g).

Wash your hands thoroughly after
installing lters.
Positioning the
dehumidi er
To increase the dehumidifying
e ectiveness, position the dehumidi er
in a location that can draw the most air.
Note
When the dehumidi er is operating,
•
do not open exterior doors or
windows.
