contact.
• Press the button (with opening contact) and thus brief-
ly interrupt the power supply to the motion sensor.
• After return of power, the motion sensor activates
again.
• The connected lamp is switched on for the duration of
the duty cycle set on the motion sensor.
Parallel circuit with universal switch (off-switch)
( Page 5 l 4 )
• Connect the motion sensor parallel to a universal
switch in order to be able to switch lamps to conti-
nuous illumination.
• Independent of the set duty cycle, the lamp is swit-
ched to continuous illumination as soon as the univer-
sal switch is switched on.

Mechanical setting of the detection range
( Page 7 l 7 )
Due to local variations, it may be necessary to vary the
detection range of the motion sensor.
The detection range can be fine tuned by means of hori-
zontal and vertical turning of the sensor head.
A mounting plate with longitudinal slot is located inside
the front cap, which can be turned horizontally and verti-
cally. (see illustration)
Horizontally oriented longitudinal slot: horizontal turning
of the sensor head approx. +/– 30° (see illustration)
Vertical oriented longitudinal slot: vertical tilting move-
ment of the sensor head approx. +/– 45° (see illustration)
Crawl protection ( Page 7 l 8 )
The motion sensor has a second level, which is used as
crawl protection.
Notes
• This device is not intended for use as a burglar alarm
due to its lack of tamper protection.
• Climatic conditions can affect the function of the mo-
tion sensor.
• Malfunctions can occur due to heavy rain, hail, high
wind gusts, and sudden temperature changes.
• Movements in the detection range that are too slow or
too fast will not be detected.
• Do not apply any mechanical pressure to the lens.
